Nitrous Oxide

Also known as laughing gas, nitrous is a light, fast-acting sedation breathed through a small mask. You’ll stay awake but feel calm and at ease. Once your treatment is finished, the effects wear off quickly — you can even drive yourself home afterward.

Oral Sedation

If you experience moderate dental anxiety, oral sedation may be ideal. You’ll take a prescribed pill before your appointment to help you relax deeply. You’ll remain conscious but may feel drowsy and have little memory of the procedure. A companion will need to drive you home.

IV Sedation

For patients with severe anxiety or those undergoing complex treatment, IV sedation provides the deepest level of comfort. Sedation is delivered intravenously and carefully monitored throughout your visit for a safe, restful experience. Most patients drift in and out of sleep but remain responsive.


